"My voice shall You hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto You, and will look up." (Psalm 5:3)
The Revised Version renders its, "and will keep watch." For what would he look up and keep watch? Evidently for the blessings for which he prayed. Said he, "I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." (Psalm 121:1-2)
Too many people make their requests known to God, but don't keep watch, so that, although the blessings are extended to them, they do not see them.
