The Psalmist has said: "The entrance of your words gives light: it gives understanding unto the simple." (Psalm 119:130)
The words of the Lord are our wisdom, and theirs is the wisdom which shall not pass away.
He who is learned in the Word of the Lord has gained that which will make him wise, not only for time but for all eternity. Such a one has indeed chosen the good thing which will never be taken from him.
